15th May 2012 - Baby Angelia's Wedding Part 2 Dinner!!

We had the craziest morning gate crash ever!!!

All the sisters were so exhausted and tired from that few hours of insufficient sleep and the "war" between the brothers............

After the morning tea ceremony which ended at Baby A's place, we rested for a while and then follow the couple to the dinner venue at Orchid Country Club to check into the hotel rooms and prepare for the evening................

I almost ran out of battery for my camera hence the lack of in-between pictures of the girls freshen up and doing their makeup; and moreover I really need that precious bath and rest time!!!

I know this is awkward but................ Here's the night's pictures!!!

My camera died on me half way through dinner!!!

What a bummer............

But what the heck!!

Its Baby A's big day!! We are all truly happy for her!!

15th May 2012 - Baby Angelia's Wedding Part 1 Morning Gate Crash!

One of my best friend/sister got married!!! A very big congratulations to you Baby A!!!

So excited and happy to become one of her bride'smaid a.k.a sisters for her wedding!!!

Soon we started discussions on what to wear for the morning gatecrash, what colour theme would it be, what games to play in the morning and what to prepare for the must-have sour-sweet-bitter-spicy rounds for the groom and his brothers............

We initially picked baby pink for the dress we'll be wearing but there's a small problem; we wanted everyone to dress in the same baby pink shade to be uniform but there are hundreds and thousands of dresses in so many shades of baby pink!!!

It was a headache to find the perfect shade of baby pink too...........

And so, 1 fine day as I was shopping around for the perfect dress at far east plaza with kennie, we chanced upon this particular shop that sells mainly dresses which was more for special occassions and those kinds I would hardly step into, and as I wandered deeper into the shop, I saw something that caught my eye..............

It was a whole rack of bridemaids dresses in wide shades of pastel colours ranging from pinks to puroke to nudes to dark colours like red, burgundy, navy blue and black!!!

It was too perfect!!!

1) There are many colours to choose from

2) It can be more worn in more than 10 different ways

3) The best part - It's one size fits all!!!

Excited much!!!

The dress was originally retailling at 49.90 but they were having some sale and we got it at 39.90!! To top it off, alteration is FOC!!!!!! How freaking cool is that!!!!

A few of us stayed over at Baby A's place on the night before the big day........

We were all too excited to sleep but we finally gave in around 2am.......... Got up at 5.15am ............. We were all nearly like the walking dead lolz!!!

After washing up, we then start dolling ourselves and quickly finish preparing the sour-sweet-bitter-spicy "breakfast" for the groom and his brothers!!

Sour - Lemon freshly squeezed by hand the night before

Sweet - Sugar cubes dipped in tomato sauce top with honey

Bitter - Sliced bitter gourd

Spicy - Hard-boiled egg stuffed with wasabi and bread with chili padi and sambal chili spread

What a sumptuous breakfast spread!!! Wahahaha!!!

Hahaha!! You think we'll let you have the key so easily??? Fat hope!! 1 last round to go through and give us our ang pow first!!!

Meanwhile, among the chaos, our lovely bride Baby A is waiting patiently in her room wandering what kind of torture did we girls metted out to those brothers..............
