We didn't bought her from a pet shop nor was she given to us by anyone..................... She just flew into our window 3 years ago and became our family member......................
At first we thought of freeing her but we soon saw that she was tired from flying all the way to 21st storey so we decided to adopt her...........................
Her chirps were the most deafening yet melodious....................
We didn't knew her gender until she lay her first egg...................
Soon we got to know that her favourite food is unsalted almond.....................
She also loves to get a bit of sunshine whenever my mom brings her cage out to sun...........................
She was always the one saying goodbye and welcome to anyone who goes out and come back home as her cage was placed near the door.......................
She treasures that little piece of cloth we placed inside her cage and would nest inside and make it her blanket at night.......................
She also loves to pinch on our leftover apple/pear/corn..................................
Year after year of staying in the same cage, we recently bought her a "new home"..................................
I can tell she's happy with her "new home"..............................
Because of staying in cages for too long, her wings couldn't take her high and far.............................
Today, 17/01/2012, she finally soar up to heaven.................................
Leaving us to find her other half.............................
Because..................................
She's a love bird.................................................
