22/01/2012 - Lunar New Year Eve!!!

Happy Lunar New Year Everyone!!!!!!


Been kinda low these few days after the departure of my beloved tweety............................


But I do need to pull myself together and look forward to the new year ahead...........


Our family had a simple reunion lunch with some home-cooked dishes!

At around 4.45pm we then set off to Jumbo @ Riverwalk where we had made a reservation for the dinner!!


We invited Kennie to join us but he's got his own reunion dinner with his family so I guess it'll make perfect sense to eat with our own families...........


However he did send me some pictures of his reunion dinner and I shall also share them here as well!!


I'll start with mine first hehe..........

After the wonderful dinner (the fish was a little dissapointing thou...), we had a stroll.............

That's all I had for the night!!

Now let's see what's going on over at Kennie's place..........

Hmmm not too shabby too!! Except for 1 thing............

He needs to change his phone badly!!!

I mean, look at the quality of the pictures!!! They don't do the food any justice at all!!!

I'll be brutally honest, I wouldn't say I gave it the most attention but she still has a place in my heart no matter what........................



We didn't bought her from a pet shop nor was she given to us by anyone..................... She just flew into our window 3 years ago and became our family member......................



At first we thought of freeing her but we soon saw that she was tired from flying all the way to 21st storey so we decided to adopt her...........................

Her chirps were the most deafening yet melodious....................



We didn't knew her gender until she lay her first egg...................

Soon we got to know that her favourite food is unsalted almond.....................



She also loves to get a bit of sunshine whenever my mom brings her cage out to sun...........................

She was always the one saying goodbye and welcome to anyone who goes out and come back home as her cage was placed near the door.......................



She treasures that little piece of cloth we placed inside her cage and would nest inside and make it her blanket at night.......................



She also loves to pinch on our leftover apple/pear/corn..................................



Year after year of staying in the same cage, we recently bought her a "new home"..................................

I can tell she's happy with her "new home"..............................

Because of staying in cages for too long, her wings couldn't take her high and far.............................





Today, 17/01/2012, she finally soar up to heaven.................................






Leaving us to find her other half.............................






Because..................................












She's a love bird.................................................

We are going into the year of the dragon!!! Will be expecting a lot of wedding invitations and new born babies in the year ahead!!! *There goes the ang pow money....*



What's left of the preparation for CNY:

• Mandarin oranges
• More new year goodies
• Spring cleaning (O.M.F.G.)
• More clothes??? (Wahahaha *evil smile*)

Will be doing a post on the concert I attended sometime earlier!!! (Super awesome max!!! Cant get enough of it!!!)

2012 - New Year Resolution........

With the Year 2011 swishing past us, we are now ready to welcome a brand new Year 2012!!

I don't typically set new year resolutions for myself but this year I'll try to challenge myself with these........

1.  Save more money......

 

I need to curb myself from online shopping!! Main culprit!! Special occasion only please!!

 

 

2. Sleep early!! Latest by 12am......

 

Hmmm...... I guess I'll have to amend my timing to 11pm..... NOT!! Let's just stick to 12am......

3. Lose some of that fat ass........



No matter how hard I try, I can never be anorexic coz I simply love good food too much....... Slurp Slurp!! Where's my Garrett??!!

4.  Drink more H2O........

Wow super motivated now!! Anything for better health!!

I guess that will be all for now....... Don't wanna get too carried away and end up not achieving any of those.........

31/12/2011 - Last Meal of Year 2011 before movie and before the final countdown!!

 

After the awesome movie (Flying Swords of Dragon Gate), we then joined my friends at cine Kbox for countdown!! Photos not available as they were taken with my girlfriend's camera =( but nevertheless we had a rocking time!!

If my girlfriend ever upload the photos I'll just have them in another post......

After lunch we just went window shopping and laze the whole day away at his place......... So tired after staying out late on Xmas eve!!
